Of all the highly anticipated movies coming this blockbuster season, I dont know if any is as looked forwarded to as The Watchmen. Fanboys and Fangirls alike have been salivating since hearing this movie got the green light. And nearly had a fit when a lawsuit by Fox studios put the release date in jeopardy.

Watchmen is set in 1985, but in an alternate reality where Richard Nixon is serving his fifth term as president and costumed crime fighting has been banned. The story begins with the brutal murder of a retired superhero named the Comedian.

Watchmen release date is March 6 2009
